Long description:

Naltrexone blocks the effects of opioid medication, including pain relief or feelings of well-being that can lead to opioid abuse. Naltrexone can help keep you from feeling a “need” to use the opioid.
It has also been found to be effective in the treatment of other addictions and may be used for them off-label. Effects begin within 30 minutes. A decreased desire for opioids, though, may take a few weeks.
